Hooray for pink!! It is a jubilant, joyful, playful color. It makes me think of Easter dresses and princesses. It is a quintessentially feminine color. And yet, men can look sharp in it also with a nice shirt or paired with a crisp black suit and great tie. I am also reminded of my pink Izod Lacoste polo circa 1984-5. Hmmm... I love pink.

All I can say is, if you have not seen this movie, see it!
The two main actors in this film absolutely stole the show at the Academy Awards. Their song "Falling Slowly" was awarded "Best Original Song" and their acceptance speeches were historic. You might see in their acceptance speech that Markéta Irglová gets cut off at the end. The Oscars producer called her back on stage to give her speech and it was very poignant.
Info and trailer here.
